QR code tracking & scan analytics — without storing IP addresses

Every scan of a dynamic code is recorded as it happens: where (country, region, city — resolved at the network edge), on what (device, OS, browser), when (down to the hour, in the scanner's own timezone), and how often the same person came back — as a privacy-safe unique-visitor count.

One number no competitor's page will show you: the IP addresses we store. It's zero. Location is resolved at the edge and the address is discarded before our application ever sees it; unique visitors are counted with a salted daily digest that can't be reversed into a person. The charts stay honest and the scanner stays anonymous.

Live, comparative, and on a map

Any date range, always shown against the window before it, refreshing while the page is open — plus a world map of scans, hour-of-day patterns, and per-code movers. Campaign tags (Scale+) slice all of it by source, medium and campaign, snapshotted per scan so retagging never rewrites history.

Retention with a straight face

Per-scan detail is kept for your plan's raw window, then summarised into daily totals kept for the reporting window — 90 days on Growth, 180 on Scale, a year on Business. Beyond the raw window the charts still answer how many and how many people; they stop answering who and where. We say this here because you'd otherwise discover it in a meeting.

Out of the dashboard, onto a desk

The scan report is a clean emailed PDF covering any period your plan allows — built to be forwarded to a client or a board unedited. The Excel export (Scale+) carries the whole library with per-code totals, and the very first scan of any code can email you the moment the printing provably works.

PlansAnalytics are on every plan; retention windows and campaign attribution grow with the tier (90 days on Growth to 365 on Business and Enterprise). Compare plans →

Questions

How do you count unique visitors without tracking people?

Each scan computes a one-way digest from a daily-rotating salt — the same phone scanning twice today counts once, and nothing stored can be reversed into an address or followed across days. It's a count, not a profile.

Can scans feed Google Analytics?

Yes — put campaign tags on the code and every redirect carries utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign into your destination's own analytics, while our dashboard shows the same attribution per code.
